Hello loves~ I've put togehter a quick tutorial on how I get a galaxy/nebula effect with watercolors. You'll have to check it out either on Facebook or Tumblr though.

And yes, I did a painting of Princess Twilight Sparkle. I don't have to need a reason! Friendship is magic foo'!

I've been looking for some good watercolours for absolutely ages, where do you get yours/what brand?

Ya know I just buy the pallet of colors from the art store. They are those little discs? I have a set that has like 24 colors. They're a more translucent watercolor and I just love them. They're also really cheap! I hope that helps, sorry I don't know what brand they are.

Really Really Beutifull!
I was only suggesting one thing :
You could've made the hair more twisted, and make it look real. Because her hair, looks all straight like a ruler.
But anyways, It's really beutifull!
I'm proud of you, KTOctopus-San!

Keep working hard~ c:

Thanks for the good critique Fluffy! When I'd originally drawn the hair it had a bit more curve and twist to it, but then when I painted it with the galaxy effect it really lost all the line work. I definitely should have added in some stray pieces flowing off so it wasn't so flat. Next time for sure. I need to try and find a way to do the galaxy hair effect but still create depth with shadows and highlights on it. i will keep working at it!
