Tentacle Gauges Fanimeby ~KTOctopus

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry / Earrings & Piercings

Here is a big image of most of the gauges I made for Fanime and one lovely lady that let me photograph her with a pair she bought on.

Currently I am not making fake gauges as I have had some issues with getting the bullet backs to connect properly with the posts. Out of a pack of 20 backs only 8 or so will have a good connection and even then I don't know if they will really hold until the earring is done. If anyone knows of good bullet/butterfly earring back for fake gauges let me know!

I have been making lots of normal earrings and necklaces for AnimegaCon in Vegas this month!

I bought those silicone/plastic ones which are pretty long compared to the butterfly ones. I guess that will make it easier to put the clip in as you dont have to go through it again (to have a decent hole). I havent got the chance yet to try it out but it will be definitely easier than the butterfly ones!

Thanks! I was considering the rubber ones since they have such a strong hold, but I'm worried about baking them into the clay. I think it's worth a shot though.
